Romanji: Torankusu
Meaning: Men's Boxers
Race: 1/2 Saiyan, 1/2 Human
Birth: 766 A.D.

Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. He first appears in the middle of the Android Saga as a creepy looking little baby who has inherited his mother's lavender hair/blue eyes and his father's facial features. He is almost always crying.

7 years later when Trunks is 8 years old, his role become slightly larger. At this point he is already able to to become a SSJ and is almost always training with his father, who wants to make him more powerful than his rival's son, Gohan. Often bossing his friend Goten around to get what he wants, he is much more arrogant, loud, and manipulative than his future counterpart. He obviosuly has a great deal of admiration for Vegeta and spends most of his time trying to live up to his father's expectations, although he doesn't make very much progress until the very end of the Buu Saga when Vegeta sacrifices his life for his family and friends.

10 years later Trunks is 18 years old and his personality really hasn't changed much. He's what you would expect of any normal teenager, complaining about how his allowance, hanging out with Goten, and talking about girls. He also begins to lose interest in fighting at this point. Trunks now has an adorable little 5 year old sister named Bra(re-named Bulla in the english version).

Trunks appears again in GT another 10 years later at the age of 28. He is now the president of his grandfather's company, Capsule Corporation. His lavender hair has become a much darker shade of violet and and he has a much lighter complexion(maybe from long hours spent working indoors?) Trunks has also become far more mature and responsible. All the young female employees (and that gay man, Otosuki) drooling over him day after day. Whenever he walks by they instantly stop what their working on and gather in the hall. Trunks doesn't really care for the attention he gets from all of his admirers and it's obvious that he hates his job. He sneaks out of his office just to fly around in the clouds and completely ignores his important company meetings(proving he still has a spoiled/childish side to his personality).

Like Goten, Trunks was forced to leave his ordinary life and search for the Black Star Dragon Balls by his father. Of course Pan launches it before Goten can board, leaving Trunks to be the only "adult" on their adventure. Being the most mature of the three, Trunks is constantly worrying about Pan and Goku. He becomes like a babysitter to them and is always apologizing for their misbehavior. Although he has minimal experience, Trunks is also the pilot of the spaceship.

Even though he can't stand his job, Trunks actually appears to have taken an interest in working with machines. He is often reading magazines about machinery/science on the spaceship and he is even interested in learning about the more advanced types of technology on the different planets they visit.

This version of Trunks is often labeled a "wimp" by fans, but if he was than I doubt that he would have had enough strength to fight off Baby when it tried to posses his body. Even Goten wasn't able to do that alone.

100 years later a blue/green haired woman appears at the final Tenkaichi Tournament with her son Vegeta Jr and is also the new president of Capsule Corp. This women could be either a descendant of Trunks or Bra.
